When do you give up?
Relationship Stress / by lavendaire0

...See more I wish I could put our entire relationship here so that whoever is reading this could have a perfect understanding, but I’m having difficulty finding the words. After 6 years of marriage, I think I need to leave my husband. It’s one of those situations.. if love were enough.. I wanted to believe so badly that love was enough. That being in love would help us through the toughest struggles. Over the last few years I’m beginning to grasp that it won’t ever be enough. Not with us. I’m struggling with acceptance. He is my life, I’ve built myself around him, my personality exists for him. He is in every thought and consideration throughout my day. I care deeply for him. I thought briefly that I may be obsessed, and to an extent, I am obsessed with loving him. He is my entire world. How can I come to terms with it being over? I’m not going to be comforted by him anymore. I’m never going to have a hug from him anymore. I’ll never share a dinner with him or a funny TikTok. How do you deal with something so closely related to grief? How do I move closer to acceptance? Loss is so final, but leaving a relationship or choosing to call it quits seems optional. How can I make the right decision? There’s no quiz I can take.. What is the right answer… I’m so lost.

...See more I’m wondering if anyone else might be struggling with binge eating & type 2 diabetes? My diabetes landed me in the hospital early October with DKA (diabetic keto acidosis) which was a pretty big scare for me. I was prescribed Glipizide in addition to the Metformin I was already taking and it has helped a lot, but I am into my 4th week of a healthier diet and my need to binge eat is crushing me. I know that in order to actually live, I have to stay on this low carb diet. I’ve not been on this diet for a month before I feel like giving up. I’m struggling to see how it will be possible to live on this diet for the rest of my life and I’m struggling to cope with the need to eat. Does anyone struggle with the same? Any tips or advice? How do you cope?
