...See more Is anyone struggling with replaying a past mistake over and over and convincing yourself that you are a terrible person? This memory came to me seemingly out of nowhere and yet since it appeared it has totally turned my world upside down. I was only a child and yet I feel horrendous guilt and shame-the memory come under the bracket of sexual experimentation. I know that the people around me would say Im a good person but now I feel like a fraud. I feel that theres an inner argument whereby I am trying to tell myself that I was only a child/we all make mistakes/it wasnt that bad and yet the other part tells me that if my friends or family knew they would be disgusted/ I dont deserve to be happy/ I dont deserve to live anymore. Its exhausting and I feel that if it cant be sorted I simply wont be able to continue living.
