...See more Im an 18 year old female and I just recently graduated high school. I grew up with divorced parents who I spent the years getting thrown back and forth between. In 2017, my junior year, my dad turned on me and lost custody of me. My step mom had mentally abused me for years, tore me down, did unspeakable things. I know she is the main source of my anxiety. It all started with a simple feeling of not being good enough or no one liked me and over the years it has turned into anxiety over everything. Every little thing. Everyday life seems so hard to endure because all I do is worry and think negative. I recently took up a job as a corrections officer and it has made my anxiety so much worse.. I cant go to work without thinking something bad will happen. I decided to download this app today, because I had the worst panic attack Ive ever experienced. I was driving to meet my boyfriend and it came out of no where. I had to stop and sit in a parking lot because I couldnt feel my face and I just felt like everything around me was collapsing. I prefer not to talk to anyone I know about this because Im afraid theyll think Im making this up, so I decided to come here and hear other peoples stories. Thank you for reading!
