Pushing him to make a move

...See more I feel my manager has feelings for me and I do too but he’s being subtle and flirty. Stares, glances, among others. But he isn’t making a concrete move. We are three years apart by the way. Anyone have any tips to push him to make a move or maybe opinions on why he is moving forward?

...See more l've developed feelings for my direct manager for over 7 months. I started liking him way back in October and kept it to myself till he started coming around in January subtly and using deniability tactics. There's been subtle consistent workplace flirting, inside jokes, small intimate moments, personal conversations, but nothing ever progresses beyond that. No contact outside of work (no text or call) unless it's work related. He didn't acknowledge my birthday meaningfully (dry wish, no post or gift). The cycle is: flirting and closeness, he making remarks that suggest he is interested in me, I get hopeful, nothing progresses, I try to distance myself, he matches my distance, I come around again, cycle repeats. I know logically could be breadcrumbing but I can't stop having feelings for him and it's affecting me in a way. I can't stop thinking about him and trying to analyze every moment we have when I come back home after work everyday. Wondering how i can cope and move forward especially when I still have to see the person daily?
