...See more Hi everyone, my name is Micaela and I’m on my twenties. Two years ago I met some people who showed me a different reality about the LGBTQ+ community. For my entire life I lived in a country where queer people were afraid of showing who they really were. And when I did this exchange programme in this new country I met those open minded people, and they showed me what I was missing… I felt like that was the place I really wanted to live in forever. After that experience I started questioning my sexuality, I started thinking about myself as someone who is “confused” or “curious”, never sure about what I liked, and probably faking this open mind. Nowadays I define myself as bisexual, but I’ve never experienced a relationship with a girl. And if I’m actually straight? If I just like the community? If I have a girlfriend and don’t find what I expected? Can I be in love with someone of my gender, but not sexually attracted to them? Does this mean that I like some people more than others, depending on their appearance? I’m so confused right now… I just don’t understand what is going on with me. My family is not a safe place for LGBT and I’m afraid of asking them for help. I’m sorry if I offended anybody, I just wanted to talk to someone who could understand my situation…
