...See more Hello i am currently 20 years old and i struggle with selective mutism which is causing alot of anxiety in my life. I feel like im being rushed to get my life together. Im currently in a relationship and the anxiety is ruining it i cant even talk verbally to my boyfriend because i am scared. Anxiety is terrible to the point where i dont talk to even my parents and i want to be able to have the freedom to go out, get a job, let them know about my relationship but its very complicated for me at the moment.

...See more I am currently 20 years old im in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend and we have been together for along time now. I struggle with social anxiety and been having it basically my whole entire life and he knows about it too but last night we got into a deep talk on call about how upset he is about me not verbally talking to him on call he says he feels lonely sometimes when we call. He is also upset that we are not able to see eachother yet because of my social anxiety he basically controlled me to make a change in my life and grow or else he would leave me. I understand this situation can be frustrating but he doesnt understand that not everything im saying to him is an excuse my social anxiety is very horrible to the point where i dont even talk to my family and i need help with that.
