Harsh truth

...See more I’ve recently discovered this week and last week that I was never apart of any group. Even the groups I’ve committed to since the start of school. I was never a voice in my friend group, and I was never given the chance to express my real emotions to anyone I know. The harsh reality is that I was alone all this time. Everyone’s living their lives in friend groups while I stay the same way, alone as ever. I don’t know what to do but cry. I feel so alone, oh god.

...See more Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever be satisfied in life. I look around and see my family members and how they have someone other then themselves that will cheer them up, that will listen to them, that will be with them through hard times. But who do I have? I have friends but would they even care to listen to me talk about what I’m going through? They would just feel bad for me, they wouldn’t want their mood to be brought down. Even in church I have no one to go to. In school I don’t really have a teacher to relie on, and my counselor isn’t available to talk. I don’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend, or a dog, or someone/something to keep me just INTERESTED in life. And I get it, to love someone else, you gotta start at home and love yourself... but when will I ever love myself? I look at the internet and see people who are so happy now because they’ve finally learnt to “love themselves” but how does that happen? Does it just stay with them years after? How is that even possible. I cant go a day without hearing negative thoughts about myself created BY myself, and I cannot stop that. I just feel like everything and everyone is trapping me, and I cannot escape that.
