...See more Recently my husband told me he is unable to get over the fact that I cheated on him 15 years ago and had a child. Back then I cheated and told him about it and we got divorced. I continued my relationship and had a child. My husband moved on and ended up getting married as well. A year later when my son was 1 I was single and my husband was recently divorced and we reconnected and decided to get together again. He assumed the father role for my son and treated him like his own son. We got married again and have built a lovely life and had another child. Now 14 years later he tells me he can't get over what I did and that he may never get over it. He says he needs time to think about it and that we should separate. After a few hours of me giving him space he comes back and says he will go to therapy to deal with it and to not worry because he is not leaving. But now I can't help but wonder if all this was a mistake and if shouldn't of gotten back together. As much as we live eachother if he can't get over it I don't know if I can stay knowing that he can't move on and I don't want this to affect our children and especially my son who sees him as his father.
