...See more It's been about a month since I last self harmed, I hid the marks from my partner because I didn't want them to know I broke my promise. That promise is the only thing that stops me from doing it again and lately it's getting harder to rationalize why breaking that promise again would be a bad thing. I can't talk to my family about this and my partner would only see this as a problem that I'm asking them to fix. I'm getting tired of carrying this, it's lonely and I'm not sure talking about it would even help but at this stage, what could it hurt?
