Fleas causing major anxiety spikes

...See more So my cat has fleas for the first time and ive never experoenced them before and im kind of going off the rails. I feel like theyre all over my house, im paranoid that something is crawling on me all the time or theyre in my hair or something. I keep finding what i think are eggs everywhere. Ive vacuumed and sprinkled diatomaceous earth everywhere and i feel like i cant even go in my own living room because its being treated. My apartment is my safe space and i feel like its under attack snd this is the most stressful situation that i think ive ever had to deal with. I wish i could just get some peace of mind.
