Too many diagnoses rant

...See more So I’ve been diagnosed with a lot the recent is bipolar disorder type 2 but I’ve also been depressed and diagnosed with ADHD all my life and I’ve had periods of extreme debilitating depression and what I thought and described as my ADHD out of control again. My new psychiatrist said that ADHD wouldn’t make the need to eat and sleep non existent. Like it can make it hard to sleep or remember to eat. But when I described it as I can go days without needing food I wouldn’t feel hungry or days without needing more than a few hours of sleep and the fact that these periods started happening more frequently when I was in duloxetine he thinks I’m really bipolar and my home life made the depression aspect more prominent. Honestly o do t care about the diagnosis I just want to have some peace and calm in life and not be a rollercoaster 24/7. I know my rapidly changing moods are exhausting for me and it sucks to go from ok to crisis in a matter of seconds. It has to be for those around me too. I try to hide it and sometimes I can but sometimes I can’t and I explode or end up self harming or both depending on whether the roller coaster soared or dropped. I just want a normal range of emotions and to have some sense of stability in my life.

...See more So o was raised in a home where it was abnormal not to explode and get violent. I am now 26 and I struggle with not exploding and not destroying stuff. I don’t know how to deal with anger and frustration in a way that is safe to me and those around me and not just holding it back. Any tips on how to lessen it from like a blinding 10 to maybe an 8 or 7?
