...See more I just had a great path prompt; how much is in your tank? we always have so much going on and everything we do takes energy. so how much energy do you have left in your tank before you burn out and what can you do to refill that tank? for me, i have about a half a tank. i can make it through the week but i need to fill up soon enough. since i am not that close to empty, i don’t need as much rest as i would compared to a quarter tank. i just need a good nap and some quiet reading time

Critical Thinking as a Catalyst for Better Decision Making
IDG 7 Cups Hub / by silverForever2835

...See more Critical thinking is the ability to analyze information objectively, evaluate different perspectives, and make reasoned judgments. In a world flooded with data and opinions, this skill is essential for making informed decisions and solving complex problems. Whether you're assessing a business strategy, evaluating news sources, or resolving a conflict, critical thinking helps you move beyond assumptions and biases. It encourages curiosity, skepticism, and a structured approach to problem-solving. For instance, a critical thinker facing a workplace issue might gather facts, consider multiple viewpoints, and weigh potential outcomes before acting—rather than reacting emotionally or relying on hearsay. Cultivating critical thinking involves asking thoughtful questions, challenging your own beliefs, and engaging in discussions that expose you to diverse perspectives. It’s not about being right—it’s about being thorough, fair, and open-minded. Discussion Prompt: Describe a situation where critical thinking helped you avoid a poor decision. What steps did you take to evaluate the situation, and what was the outcome?

The Power of Self-Awareness in Personal and Professional Growth
IDG 7 Cups Hub / by silverForever2835

...See more Self-awareness is the foundation of emotional intelligence and a key driver of personal development. It involves recognizing your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and understanding how they influence your decisions and interactions. In both personal and professional settings, self-awareness allows us to identify our strengths and areas for improvement, manage stress effectively, and build stronger relationships. For example, a self-aware person may notice they tend to dominate conversations and consciously choose to listen more actively. This shift not only improves relationship dynamics but also fosters mutual respect. In leadership, self-awareness helps people remain grounded, make ethical decisions, and respond to challenges with clarity rather than impulse. Developing self-awareness requires intentional reflection, feedback from others, and a willingness to confront uncomfortable truths. Journaling, mindfulness practices, and regular self-assessments are practical tools that support this growth. Discussion Prompt: Think of a time when being self-aware helped you navigate a difficult situation. What did you learn about yourself, and how did it change your approach moving forward?

...See more When did you come out and how? If you haven't came out yet, what is the number one thing that's stopping you? I personally came out to my dad through a note when I was in 7th grade because I was too scared to tell him face to face.
