How do I tell my mom I want to seek help about my depression?

...See more I already know I'm depressed. I doubt it occasionally, when I think I'm being too positive or cheerful, but most of the time I'm sure I'm depressed. I've been trying to start grounding myself in reality more, like job hunting, setting myself goals and the like, and I'm doing decently, but I want to feel more than neutral for once. I'd really like to get my depression dealt with, or at least on the road to being dealt with, except I still live with my mom, and I can't make an appointment with my GP without her noticing. I'm even more reluctant to bring it up with her because I've done so before and she didn't believe me, or said she would help me and put it off until I forgot briefly. I'd really like some advice on how to breach the subject without repeating past events. Thanks in advance.
