...See more So I just joined tonight. I've had depression for 3 years now and have been on meds for 9 months but I don't feel one I'm greeting all that better. I was for a little while, but now I feel like it's been worse again. I have nights where I break down bawling, and I've been pushing away the person who is trying to be there for me. I guess I'm not sure what to do anymore, so here I am.

...See more Hey. I'm not too familiar with sharing any of this stuff with anybody, but I can't keep living this way, so here goes. I've had depression for about 3 years now, and I've been on medication for the past 9 months. Problem is, I'll feel ok, like I'm getting better, and then I'll get a day when I break down and sob and I want to die so much. I would never take my life but it's so hard to keep going. Is it normal to go from good to wanting to die so suddenly? I'm not sure if these highs and lows are just a part of depression or if they're caused by something else.
