...See more Sh awareness Self-harm has been a common behavior for me since before I even knew that word existed. I would just hurt myself. I feel emotions so intensely, and I don’t know how to cope with them other than through physical pain, whether it’s cutting, biting myself or punching myself. I genuinely have no idea what else I should try. I even self-harm when I’m TOO HAPPY!? How the *** is that even possible?

...See more Hello, I’m an average 13-year-old trans girl. I’ve known about my gender identity since I was around eleven. I’m not here to talk about family problems, transphobia, bullying, or any social experiences, but rather about how my pain comes from my own body. I really used to enjoy being alive before hitting puberty. I remember my 10-year-old self like it was yesterday, an age when I didn’t have to struggle with my own body. Gender dysphoria is such a mix of horrible emotions and feelings. You mourn your childhood and the teenage years you could have had, feel an overwhelming sense of jealousy towards cis people who can simply live their lives in bodies that feel like their own, watch your own body change while you can do *** NOTHING, fear what your body is going to turn into and what you’ll look like in the future, and so much other ***. I just wish I could have a normal life or a supportive family who would allow me to safely access HRT. 😭🥺
