...See more Anyone else with ADHD get super into a hobby and then randomly lose interest? I feel like I do this with everything. Guitar, working out, reading, writing, video games, etc. At first I'm obsessed. I'll spend hours researching it, thinking about it, planning it, and imagining how good I'll get. Then after a while the excitement fades and suddenly it's hard to make myself do it, even if I still want to. I've struggled with this for years and sometimes it makes me wonder if I actually enjoy the hobby or if I just enjoy the excitement of starting something new. Do any of you experience this? If so, how do you keep doing a hobby once that initial excitement wears off?
