I have been someone who has worked in public services for the community for many decades. One of my specialism at work is training staff to support people with mental health, which has been rewarding and intriguing. Having been a manager for many years I have supported staff members who have been through challenging times in their lives, as well as encouraging them towards career specialism and promotion.
Having experienced many lows in my own life and picked myself up, I feel that I can listen and support others.
