...See more I am a lesbian and was just broken up with yesterday because she has a fearful avoidant attachment style and I called her out for breadcrumbing me. She is in therapy so I guess that’s good. The first time she brought up not being ready for an exclusive relationship was about a month ago. She said therapy made her realize she’s not ready but she still wants to get to know me. I cautiously agreed thinking she would respect my boundary of moving slow because it was a lot for me to think about in the moment. I tried distancing myself and it was like she was scared I was gone because she kept initiating conversations. That was for about a week. She still initiated up until yesterday but it was very hot/cold. So I finally called her out and she told me again that shes not in a place for a romantic connection and that she didn’t want to keep me in a situation that won’t go anywhere. This is my first experience with a fearful avoidant woman so I’m just confused and heartbroken. I love her more than anything and hope she does the work she needs to do to heal. I have the door open for her but only if she makes an effort to heal in therapy. Just looking for some support or anyone that has been through something similar.

...See more Well it’s been a week since I was blocked by the person I thought I was going to spend my life with. We were both going through things and he requested a break because I started getting frustrated that we kept having to cancel plans. However, he would still message me every few days on this break so I started to get confused and in my head about it, and I snapped and said something I should have just kept to myself. He responded and blocked/deleted me on everything before I could reply. It hurt but oh well. I haven't cried since then but I just feel numb. I guess it's something he felt like he had to do. Must be nice to let go so easily…

My mom is also having health issues so that’s more added stress during what used to be my favorite time of year. I don’t even know if I’m making sense but I feel like writing it out helps since I don’t have many people I can confide in.
