...See more i didn't really know where to put this but im really looking for help or someone to talk to about my past relationship, i was in a year long relationship with a guy who was a narcissist but i didn't know at the time until it was too late, a lot of things happened in that relationship and i feel like it sometimes still effects me to this day but i haven't gotten therapy for it and i really wish i had one right now because today is one of those hard days, im currently in a really happy relationship with my boyfriend and he has done absolutely nothing wrong but he doesn't understand how certain things he says can trigger me to shut down because it reminds me of the past, i feel like im just a different person in a relationship now, i try my best to show that i dont care even though i do because with my narcissistic ex i was all in and i would literally spill my heart out to him which i dont do with my boyfriend now, i have a few times and i think im getting better but i still feel like theres this thing that happened in my life, i told my loved ones, and they all just expected me to move on and i know it doesnt work liek that because no matter how much i try i still have these days where i just close everything out. if someone has advice please let me know.
