Hey, I'm Katie. I'm not really good at filling in these sorts of forms so please forgive me! I'm here for anyone and will listen to absolutely anything. I believe each and every person is going through something and therefore we must show kindness to each person that we meet. I've had experience with mental illness and am very open to everyone. Sorry to Burst your Bubble

...See more Imagine yourself in a bubble. Your bubble doesn't float skywards, it remains motionless on the floor, stationary and stuck. Nothing seems to be able to burst your bubble, not your friends, not your family, not even your therapist. Yet everyday you sit in your bubble, you hope that something will happen. That this new day will be the day that your bubble will burst. This all consuming dark bubble will pop and you will be set free. Then there comes a day where after all of these days or weeks or years of you waiting in your bubble you realise that in your pocket is a pin. After all this time of relying on the external, it was you and you alone that could set you free. Now you have the choice, do you decide to push through and burst into life and persist through its' ups and downs? Or do you put that pin back in your pocket and remain within the iridescent home of your bubble? And the fact that that second option is even considerable, is why depression can be so debilitating. In the end it's up to you.
