Bio
Hello!
A little bit about me:
I’m a law graduate from India, but legal practice never really appealed to me. Right after graduating, I spent two years preparing for the UPSC Civil Service Exam — one of the toughest exams in the world. I gave it my all but didn’t make it through. That was a difficult phase, and the time I spent searching for other opportunities afterwards wasn’t easy either. Thankfully, I eventually managed to find a place in the international development sector.
As a person, I’m quite extroverted and generally easy to get along with — though I’ll admit that comes with some people-pleasing tendencies. My personality type is ENFJ, and a Gemini–Cancer cusp (if that says something about me!). I’d also describe myself as sensitive, and I really value that quality in others, too.
Some ideas, works, and ways of thinking that resonate with me are rationality, scientific temperament, Effective Altruism, Spinoza’s Ethics, and Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
I’m here because I’m still figuring out what I truly want to do with my life. My sense is that the best place to start is by leaning into my natural aptitudes and seeing how they might translate into meaningful contributions. A lot of people tell me I’m a good listener — it’s something that feels natural, and something I genuinely value and enjoy. I’m hoping this platform gives me a way to explore that side of myself more fully, while also being of use to others.
Talk to you soon!
Take care. :)
