...See more Hello! I’m feeling lost and would love to hear the thoughts of other minds. My fiancé and I have been together for 5 years. I know he adores me and he would never hurt me. If I were to stay with him for the rest of my life I am confident that I would be safe, loved, and have a comfortable life. But...I have a nagging feeling that I want something else. I feel bored in my relationship and I feel like we don’t have fun together, even when we are doing outings or activities that are supposed to be enjoyable. It feels like we are just going through the motions. I’ve told him how I feel and he keeps saying that we will work on things and that he doesn’t want it to end. He can’t argue with me. I need someone who will push back and not be passive with me. In March I actually left him. It was the first and only time that happened in 5 years. We decided to make it work. But...it bothers me that he didn’t fight for me or even ask me to stay. I know if I end this I will never hear from him again. He has made it clear that he can’t have exes as friends. I don’t think I can live the next 60+ years of my life with him, but it breaks my heart that I may never hear from him again. Words of wisdom please! 💜
