Processing my time on 7cups (Meta conversation from an anxious helper)

...See more Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I've recently learned that I feel better once I talk about something, so here it goes! I found 7Cups less than a week ago, and kinda dove in head first. It's been so helpful and supportive for me and while I feel like I'm just getting started, I also feel like I'm doing too much too soon. I keep volunteering to host the Sharing Circle which I love doing, and have been trying to follow the guidelines that I've been sent. It makes me feel like I have a purpose, and I think people appreciate my feedback. But I don't feel like I'm ready to host. I would love to host some day, but right now I think my anxiety is getting too much in the way for me to host, and I think I need more time before I can host effectively. I also understand that I'm really new here and I also don't think I'm following some of the guidelines like the required trainings or proper scheduling, so I'd like to make sure I at least finish that first too. @Lou73, @SolitaryBird, @Disneywoman, @peachStrings341, @CommunityModLou, @CommunityModElliot, Hopefully I'm not missing anybody, but thank you all so much for everyone's continued support! My challenge for you is to please hold me accountable when it comes to hosting. - Wheel

...See more Greetings, my name is sympatheticWheel9388, but you can call me Wheel. I just found 7cups today, and already feel so welcomed! I've been dealing with a lot of depression, stress and anxiety and am currently attending a local outpatient program. I also get pretty lonely, so I've been really enjoying hearing everybody share in the sharing circle group. I'd love to hear from you! Here's an icebreaker in case you're not sure how to respond: "If you could only listen to one type of music for the rest of your life, what would it be?" - Wheel
