Hi there! My name is Daniel. I am 21 years old and in my third year at the University of Georgia. I am pursuing degrees in Social Work and Psychology and simply want to help people. Reaching out for support can be really daunting so I’d like to thank you for simply taking the time to look for the support you may be needing!

I struggle with major depression myself and so to a degree, I understand what it's like to feel hopeless, lonely, and empty a lot of the time. I very much understand what it’s like to feel stuck but lack the motivation/desire to change. People, including friends and family, may not really understand what you’re going through and may judge you for struggling with those emotions.   

In my experience, it helps to just have someone you can trust and confide in, even if it may not necessarily solve a particular issue. I’m here to simply listen to you and give you the space you need to express absolutely ANYTHING that’s on your mind, whether it’s a personal issue in your life such as academic stress or mental health struggles to issues of politics, religion or lack thereof (I’m atheist), or honestly anything about life.  

I want to let you know that you are not alone in how you feel and that those feelings are entirely valid. From one human being to another, I will do my best to offer you whatever support I possibly can! 😊
