Disassociating for over a month

...See more Hello everyone, this is my first ever post on here. I’d like to know if anyone on here as dealt with disassociation for anytime longer than a few hours. For me, this has been going on since the end of December. I feel so detached from reality, at times the feeling is so strong, it’s scary how nothing feels real. I feel best when it’s not at the forefront of my mind. I’m able to take my mind off of it temporarily, but then I’m right back to these thoughts like, “What am I doing? Did I just do that? Are they really standing in front of me and speaking? Do I look crazy to them?”. If anyone knows how to cope with this please let me know. I tried seeing a doctor for anxiety and few months ago, but they said it would be weeks before an appointment. I even have severe anxiety over calling the doctors office. I know I need to, but the thought of it makes me sick. Thanks for reading.
