...See more I really can't imagine meeting the right person. I'm 33 and have never met the right person (my last and only girlfriend who I broke up with in 2017 was not the right person) so it seems odd to imagine it will suddenly happen in the future. I've never been in love and can't get over this gnawing feeling like that's just a part of life I'm going to miss out on. I haven't had sex or even been on a date since 2017 and other than a drunken snog with a friend in 2018 my love life basically doesn't exist. Unless I've been completely oblivious I don't think anyone has showed any signs of finding me attractive or flirting with me since 2019. The idea of meeting someone, having that spark and that leading to a happy loving relationship just seems like something that only happens to other people or in movies. I feel if I was making some sort of progress (meeting new people and having great conversations even if it doesn't lead to anything romantic) but I sometimes feel like I'm going backwards in that regard and that opportunities to meet new people are diminishing. In some ways I appreciate the benefits of being single for the moment but I just want to able to feel a crumb of hope. I also have anxiety and pretty severe psoriasis that affect my confidence.
