Anyone else use music as an escape?

...See more I have both depression and anxiety, and I know this sounds cliche and everything, but music is one of my only escapes from reality. It's not just listening to music that helps me-it's seeing the lyrics written out, it's seeing the band members, it's hearing what they have to say.  Because of my depression, it's hard for me to feel most of the time. But whenever I listen to music, I can feel. It's like my choice of drug. Whenever my anxiety kicks in, I just listen to some Never Shout Never or Marianas Trench to calm me down.  Please tell me I'm not the only one who uses music as an escape?
