...See more My dad has no money to eat While I spend $60 on alcohol   My brother has cancer, diabetes and neuropathy He has a better heart than I do, and yet, I’m healthy I wish it were me   My friends didn’t go to school They are ahead of me in life   My college friends all have jobs I was dean’s list, and am unemployed   I try to be a good person and not hurt anyone Why do I always get hurt?   I gave myself to her She loves me She wants to be and IS with someone else   Girl Y wants to be official I still love "her" I don’t want to hurt Girl Y   I live in a house Not a home I need to venture out   My parents don’t know anything about my life What college did I go to? What fraternity was I in?   I don’t admire my father Her dad is the greatest dad I’ve met   I’m scrawny, pale and have acne All my friends are tan and buff   Why am I holding onto her?   Why are we here? Life is passing me by   Does time mask wounds or heal them? Is this life?
