Mother issues

...See more I have been very close with my mother for a very long time. I am a young adult now and I’m realizing that the relationship I have with her is no longer healthy. My sisters that I have share the same issues with my mother. I have a new daughter and the more time I spend with my mom the more I realized that the relationship I have with her is not good. I have witnessed my emotions being turned against me in conversations with her, gaslighting situations and making me question my own sanity in the moment. Something’s got to give. I need healthy boundaries for my new family that I have including my fiancé, daughter and myself. I’m asking for advice on how to fill the void of a mothers love that I did not receive and will not receive in the future. It has affected me mentally and has even played mind games. Such as she is my own mother I want a relationship with her but at what cost to my mental health and sanity.How do you keep healthy boundaries in place even if it’s hard? Any advice would be helpful!
