...See more ive been in a relationship for 5 years and for the most part our relationship is usually pretty good minus the few things that get talked about and the crap that has always been thrown our way. but lately things keep getting really bad. whenever things dont go his way or slightly are off its an explosion. i know there are things that are contributing to the backlash. and i feel selfish always saying or thinking can we stop using me as a punching bag for everything bad that keeps happening! how do i keep my own emotions in check and allow the punching bag attitude towards me to be alright and not effect me. i feel like im watching my entire life go down a drain from how things keep going down hill. i know its not towards me and most the time not about me but it hurts when i get told its all my fault and i cant live up to any expectations when the day before its i love you i cant live without you and you make my life easier/ its like what is it? i know he cant sort some things out and outlashes towards me but how do i make sure it never effects me to allow him to vent in anyway that he needs to.
