Loneliness and lost

...See more I've been in college for about a month and two weeks now and college has been super depressing for me. Possibly because I feel beyond lonely or that the first three weeks were too good to be true---with a guy I met and everything was great but then after that everything went downhill and rejection really got the worst of me. And it had bothered me til now and I don't know when I'll be able to recover. But apart from that, college is so lonely, maybe the reason why I'm always left alone with these thoughts that eats me up. Everyone has their own life and schedule and it's hard to make close friends whom you could talk to or hang out with to help you get your mind off of things like this. I feel as though everyone has their life in place or just managing really well with everything, emotionally and academically, meanwhile I'm winging everything. I know I'm starting to concern some of my high school friends that I've been ranting to. I really think I might just be a bit depressed and I don't know how to cope with it alone. I think the guy and the loneliness is affecting me in many ways...I'm not focused and I feel like I space out most of the time, I don't know what to do.
