when the universe doesn’t make sense

...See more Hello beautiful humans, I hope everyone is doing great and thriving. Today, I want to share my story because I’m looking for people who can relate, I’m not really asking for an advice, I kinda needed to talk about it and this is a safe space so here we go. I worked for almost six months in a different country this summer - to be honest i I still am but I’ll be home in two days, which is maybe why I feel like I need to take this off my chest. I was in a relationship but it didn’t lasted, I broke up with them at the beginning of the second month. The place where I worked is lovely and all the other workers are like a big family now, it’s extremely bittersweet leaving all of them but it was bound to happen at some point, the summer season has to end. There was this someone working here, and I would be lying if I didn’t say that they caught my eye the first moment I saw them. They’re extremely charismatic, funny, playful. They immediately asked my coworker about me and I’m a leo venus so we all know I like the attention. Long story short, nothing happened between us, they are in a relationship and I obviously respect that. They told me they liked me after a couple of months, right after they stopped talking to me because they were afraid to do something stupid. I accepted it even though humans are not animals and I’m pretty sure they could have controlled their instincts, also because I really wanted to be their friend at least. Now I’m leaving, they got a bit closer, I am fully convinced that they are dating the right person for them, but this doesn’t cancel the hours spent looking at each others while we were working, all the huge smiles and the little things that made my heart happy for almost six months. I fully believe in the universe and that everything has a meaning, so I am wondering what could be the meaning of something that feels so powerful but that is in fact nothing. Stay safe out there 🖤

Why am I feeling like everything has an expiration date?

...See more Hello beautiful humans ✨ I am not new to this forum, although I haven't been here in a while. This probably explains a lot about how I live my relationships. Let's start by saying that I normally don't date. I like to keep my heart behind a wall and I've been in two relationship in twenty-two years. The last one ended during the first quarantine and I started dating someone only this December, after a year and a half. I do like my partner, they made me feel special and they seem absolutely in love with me. I do like devotion, to be fair. The thing is, they see their future with me, they have absolutely no problems to talk about their feelings (they said the three letter word already, and I replied that I wasn't ready, they were very understanding and cool about it and never said that again to not put pressure on me). They're absolutely amazing and nice under every point of view, a total green flag. I just feel like I should be completely enamoured and swept off my feet, and sometimes I do feel like that (I know that nobody's perfect, believe me, but they're really, really good), but I can't live my relationship like they do. For me, a relationship is not all roses and clouds and fairytales. I'm a very practical and cynical being (for ya'll astrology babies I'm a Virgo and they're a Cancer) and I seem to see everything like it has an expiration date written on it. I tried to give a serious thought about it, and I think it could be relate to the fact that I'm not satisfied with my life right now, I don't like the place where I live and I'm still nowhere near where I want to be with my job. I also can't see myself living in my homeland and I've been planning to leave for years, they're starting university now so they will be here for at least three more years. I don't even know if they really want to leave, or if I want them to come with me at all. Sometimes I feel like I need to be alone on my life-journey, because I want to figure things out by myself. Does it mean that I don't love them? Should I set them free even tho I definitely have feelings for them at the moment and I think I'm happy? I am also afraid that I'm using my relationship as a mean to escape from my life, we've been seeing each others during the weekends and it has basically been my safe space for the past three months. Every opinion is accepted, you can also yell at me for overthinking anything and tell me to start enjoy every little moment. I do trust the universe :) Thank you all for reading, I would totally appreciate any answer, you can also tell me if you relate to it or basically anything. This is a safe place. All the love and stay safe out there 🖤, itssnowinginmarch.
