...See more Grief isn’t loud. It’s silent. It doest hit you all at once. It comes in waves , in quite moments , in the spaces it used to fill. It’s reaching for your phone before remembering there is no one to call. Its hearing their favorite song in the store and realizing you cant tell them about it.                              Its laughing at something and feeling the ache of knowing that they will never laugh with you again. People think grief is just sadness but its also love with nowhere to go.                                    It’s carrying the absence in the small everyday moments no one else notices. Its waking up and forgetting for a moment that they are gone until reality sinks all at once.                                                    You don’t just move on. You just learn to live around the loss you carry in the quiet , in the memories , in the way they changed you because grief never fades. It just becomes a part of who you are. You just learn to live with it.  Little by little we let go of the loss but never of loss.

The memories won’t sting as much. The thoughts won’t feel so heavy.
