...See more I've been reading about how prayer, especially meditative prayer, is something that is psychologically healthy to do and I'm trying to increase my slowing down, being quiet.  I've been using Lectio365 App to help with that.  But do others have suggestions on how you pray and how it affects your mental health?

...See more I have a friend from my church who has been such a huge help whenever I have any distress, family problems, or just need a prayer.  I can feel my anxiety and depression get so much better just when she sits with me for coffee.  Those relationships really matter to me.  Has that happened to anyone else?
