Feeling hopeless and helpless

...See more I have really been struggling for the past year or so. I am so depressed. No matter how hard I try, I just can't see anything positive in myself or my life. I feel like the world is against me. I have no faith that anything will work out. I feel like I am going to be punished for no reason. I am so concerned with how I am perceived at work. I have gotten a lot of negative feedback and little positive feedback. I feel like I just can't do anything right. I try so hard and every day I come home from work and cry about how much I screwed up. I am sure my boyfriend is sick of hearing my woes. I just don't have anyone else to talk to. I have struggled making friends in this new city. At this point, I have given up. I want to get better so bad, but I just don't know what to do. I pray, I journal, I try affirmations, I try reading self-help books. Nothing seems to work. This is my last hope here.
