...See more The past year or so, my anxiety was at an all time high, and I had to be prescribed sertraline to help control my anxiety symptoms. Luckily, it's been helpful for my anxiety but the side effects are... less than ideal. I've put on a ton of weight over the past two months I've been taking sertraline, and I just upped my dose last week, which is making me gain even more weight it seems. I'm just feeling pretty nervous and uncomfortable from all of this, especially having never been this heavy before. I've been underweight my whole life and now my clothes barely fit me, and it feels like no matter what I eat, more fat keep piling on my frame... I'm feeling really lost. Does anyone have any experience with this? It's been really rough for me..

...See more So I've had a really rough year and some, and I was prescribed 25mg of zoloft about 2 months ago for my severe anxiety. I'm now up to 50mg as of last week and I've been noticing differences both good and bad. I don't feel as anxious as I would have before thankfully, but the side effects are rough... To start, I've gained a ton of weight in that time period, and now I'm gaining even more. It's been really hard to see myself go from being healthy to borderline overweight in such a short time, especially when I've been closer to underweight my entire life. Does anyone have any tips on dealing with this, or any similar experiences? I feel very alone in this sometimes even if I know that I'm not... I'm really not sure what to do.
