Dealing with SSRI Side Effects

So I've had a really rough year and some, and I was prescribed 25mg of zoloft about 2 months ago for my severe anxiety. I'm now up to 50mg as of last week and I've been noticing differences both good and bad. I don't feel as anxious as I would have before thankfully, but the side effects are rough... To start, I've gained a ton of weight in that time period, and now I'm gaining even more. It's been really hard to see myself go from being healthy to borderline overweight in such a short time, especially when I've been closer to underweight my entire life.

Does anyone have any tips on dealing with this, or any similar experiences? I feel very alone in this sometimes even if I know that I'm not... I'm really not sure what to do.
