Introduction About Myself! ☀️

...See more Hello! I thought I'd make an introduction here to make myself feel more in the community as well as find some other people and friends. ☁️✨🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🐛 My name is Finn, and I'm 17 years old! My pronouns are They/He, and I have no preference for either. I identify as a lesbian, asexual, and demiromantic. I have autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I'm speculating that I have potential OCD and RSD from my research and self discovery journey. I'm a senior this year, and on my way to graduating highschool! I'm hoping to pursue animation and voice acting in the future. I decided to use this app to further keep my mental health in check, meet new friends, and find a way to spend quality time bettering myself and keeping myself healthy. :) Thank you for taking the time to read all of this! I hope we can become great friends and help each other through our mental health journeys!

Feeling Ashamed for being Autistic

...See more Hey, I'm Finn! My pronouns are They/He, and I'm autistic. I was diagnosed with PDD-NOS as a kid, which is now an outdated term for being autistic although I'm not sure what level I'm at. I haven't been able to get re-diagnosed since. But recently I just feel and have felt super ashamed of how I act around others. Even around my other autistic friends, I feel super out of place and too "childlike." It's made me extremely insecure, and I get super frustrated with myself when I can't meet up to "normal" standards for other people my age. It's led to a lot of burnout, confusion, and depression. I also think I experience RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria). I guess I just need some reassurance is all. I'll be okay, just a lot on my plate at the moment and I need something to pick myself back up on my feet. :')
