Slowing Down🌷

...See more I wanted to share a quick reflection on something that has made a huge difference in my day-to-day life: appreciating beauty. When I look at my personal core strengths, noticing beauty in the world around me is definitely near the top. But for a long time, I used to think of it as just a nice, gentle habit rather than something practical. Lately, though, I’ve realised it’s actually one of the most effective ways to practice real mindfulness. Life gets busy, fast, and stressful, and nowadays you can especially feel it. It’s so easy to go through the day on autopilot, stuck inside our own heads worrying about what’s next. For me, taking a second to notice something beautiful, like the way the evening light hits a room, a cool pattern in nature, a piece of art, or even just watching someone show a quiet act of kindness - instantly pulls me back into the present moment. It acts like a reset button. You can’t truly appreciate beauty without slowing down and actually paying attention (and here comes one book recommendation: „The things you can see only if you slow down” by Haemin Sunim). That’s where the mindfulness comes in. It forces you to stop rushing, step out of your stress, and just be right where you are. It doesn't take extra time or money, it just takes shifting your focus. Finding beauty in small, simple things keeps me grounded, grateful, and mentally clear when things get hectic. Do any of you feel like noticing beauty helps you stay present? How do you practice staying grounded when life gets busy?

Empathy - the ability to make a change

...See more I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on what actually helps drive positive change - whether that’s in a big community, at work, or just in our everyday lives. While things like courage, big ideas, and persistence are super important, the one skill that always sticks out to me the most is empathy. To me, empathy is really just the ability to step into someone else’s shoes and truly listen without rushing to judge or fix them right away. It sounds simple, but in practice, it’s so powerful yet challenging. When you take a moment to understand where another person is coming from - their fears, their background, and their feelings - it completely changes how you connect with them. Empathy turns conflict into collaboration because it makes people feel heard and valued. Nowadays, it is such an important skill that a lot of people dismiss, even though it would’ve benefited all of us. Empathy is not something you can be born with - it’s a muscle that you train. Other people’s feelings, perspectives, emotions are the weight you lift on this training journey. And it’s your choice whether to take action and make the world better by creating this small sense of acceptance or keep on living in the cold world. In our own community, I think practicing empathy is what makes this space feel safe and supportive for everyone. When we approach each other with kindness and an open mind, we build real connections that bring out the best in all of us. What about you guys? How has showing or receiving empathy made a difference in your life? How do you try to „train” this empathy muscle? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

...See more Nowadays, mindfulness is something that we barely can live without, since all of our lives are being overwhelmed with so much noise and so many distractions. This might be your kind reminder to take care of your body and be more mindful about it - take care of your sleeping and eating schedule, take yourself for a walk, do some things that makes you feel grounded and happy! What are those things might be for you? Where would you take yourself for a walk? What would make you feel grounded? 🌷🌸💗

...See more A lot of people are being on a constant journey of finding themselves. What I recently found is the Ikigai circles - how different areas of your life might be combined and how they can be beneficial for you. As the first step I find very helpful - getting to know yourself better! What do you like? What object would you be if you were one? And so on! What do you consider helpful on your journey of discovering yourself?

mistakes are the most important part

...See more I recently realised that mistakes are the most important part of our lives. I know how cliché it might feel, but the truth is - we don’t grow if we don’t fail. You rarely can make any changes from succeeding, but when you are failing - the greatest part is that you can actually learn and grow from that, see different perspectives and things that you were too blind to see. And the most important - most of the mistakes do not identify you. As well as failures. You can always try again, leant again, change again and again and again. It’s never too late I guess.

...See more I have never realised how important it was to talk to yourself the way you usually talk to others - with kindness and respect. don’t forget - your past mistakes don’t define you, you can always change and get better. believe in yourself as much as I believe in your capabilities of doing everything that you want.

...See more I find it really useful to have reminders like this: you are doing better than you are probably thinking. and it’s important to stay kind to yourself despite the things that your mind is telling you.
