I am an “older adult” woman, (don’t like the term “senior citizen!”), who knows how important it is to be truly heard and figuratively held when going through a tough time.  We are all in this boat of life together.  And, I have experienced a lot in my life.  I have done best when I had support from other people.  I listen totally non- judgmentally to family, friends, and strangers, because I believe the human connection is what helps us get through the trying times in life.  Whether the "little" problems or the larger traumas - and everything in between-  we cope best when we feel heard, understood, and hopeful about being able to weather life's challenges.  Compassion and Kindness are my watchwords.

I enjoy writing the post and hearing feedback from others on how a person feels about the topics . My experience on 7 cups makes me love the roles I have and new roles I may apply for. I have grown so much with 7 cups and use certain chat strategies in my friendships offline.

I'm a psychology student and I want to become a psychological wellbeing practitioner; I'm hoping this will give me some basic experience but mostly I want to be able to help people. I myself have a bit of a messed up head so I can often empathise, and I understand the importance of having someone to talk to.
