Hi there, my name is Christopher, but you can call me Chris anyway. My friends do so, but do as you please. I am a 33 years child care worker, employed at a psychiatric facility. As you might imagine since I am writing on this page, I've had my fare share with problems of most, if not all kinds that humans have. Some of them, I have been through myself, while others are problems I came in contact with by having friends, co-workers or someone else having to deal with those. I work as an English tutor, interpreter and translator. I have realized that most of my students (besides improving their English skills) want to "just" tell me about their lives, what they deal with, and very rarely ask for advice (outside grammar and English vocabulary) as they already know what to do with their lives, they want to hear it said out loud. And I realized I could as well broaden my activities and offer support to other people who are not my students, and need to be listened to, without judgment, advice, motivation...

Winter is my favorite season because it’s so calm and it feels like reset of the year. Just because it’s cold and dark doesn’t mean it’s uncomfortable and harsh. I think it’s a beautiful time of the year.
