At 7 Cups, we firmly believe that everyone has the potential to be a leader. Whether you're a listener looking to take on more responsibility or a member of our community who wants to contribute in a different way, we have leadership opportunities that cater to your interests and strengths.

Leadership opportunities within 7 Cups offer individuals the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while also growing personally and professionally. Whether it's through mentoring new listeners, spreading awareness about the platform, or contributing to its development through various projects and domains, these opportunities allow individuals to become active agents of change within the 7 Cups community.

In the 7Cups Leadership, there are two key components:

  • Tiers: Tiers explain the leadership levels.
  • Categories/Domain: It explains the various categories or domains, in which each category has tiers that one can explore and pursue.

A) Tiers: 7Cups leadership roles are broadly segmented into 4 segments:
Support -level (Tier -I)

Support level tiers are the first step in the leadership opportunities that one can take to explore and get started with leadership opportunities. It is a support level because one is focusing on providing immediate guidance and support to the focused group of the project. Room Supporter, for example, facilitates uplifting and healthy conversations in the member group chats to support members. Similarly, other roles like Verifier, Forum Supporter, Chatroom supporter, Host, etc are support-level roles that everyone gets started before they step up in their leadership journey

Mentor-level (Tier -II)

The mentor level tier is the second step in the 7 Cups leadership journey. Under this level, one steps up as a mentor to support peers in the Support level as well as the community. They guide and provide all assistance and support to their Support level peers and work with their leaders to strengthen and improve the quality and support of the project, they are mentors in. Chatroom Mentor, Community Mentor, Quality Mentor, Chatroom Moderator, etc are mentor-level roles.

Mentor Leader level (Tier -III)

The mentor leader level is the second highest volunteer leadership role one can take in the community. The mentor leader role specifically focuses on working with mentors and ambassadors to scale up, strengthen and support the focused project to support the community. Under this role, one oversees a part or more of the project to ensure coverage, accountability, and growth of it. Chatroom Mentor Leader, Group Support Mentor Leader, Safety Mentor Leader, Quality Mentor Leader, Community mentor leader, etc are examples of mentor leader-level roles.

Ambassador level (Tier -IV)

The ambassador level is the highest volunteer leadership role one can have. Under this role, they spearhead a focused project and work with the team and community to strengthen the quality and scale up the support in the community through it. They work closely with the Admin team to ensure everyone is aligned with the individual project goals and collective community goals to bring more and better support and guidance for everyone.

💡 This role requires one to be an adult. If one is a teen, they can pursue mentor leader-level leadership roles. Once they age up, they can apply to be an ambassador for a specific project in a specific category.

B) Categories/Domain: The opportunities are segmented into categories to ensure easy navigation and information on all roles in the listed categories.
