That would be a tie between three things for me:
A black and white spotted pitbull that was so loving
A photo taken by a 13 yr old girl of drugs and a rose side by side on the street. The real beauty was her understanding of hope despite a dangerous neighborhood.
Hand-made pottery that had been processed in a wood fire kiln bringing out the natural iron.

OK, cheating a bit here. I haven't seen anything beautiful today, but it is still early morning. Yesterday though, I spent the whole day with my girlfriend. We went hiking through a beautiful area. It was wonderful.

Oh, you looked at it? It's a piece of art from the Desert X installation in the desert. It's called Ghost Palm.

@DanaMH - it's early yet but the most beautiful thing i've seen so far today are some roses blooming in my wife's garden

The clouds were rolling over the mountains today, in a big grey cloudbank. It was really cool.
Also, the purple and orange flowers are blooming.

Clouds are so amazing also all the shapes they make and how they move in the sky. Those flowers blooming sounds really pretty.
Not today but yesterday, I saw this huge gogantic grasshopper on my chair in the porch. This grasshopper constantly hangaround in my garden and ocassionaly I tell it to hop on to the other plants and leave my leafy vetables alone
. So seeing it , resting comfortably on my chair, was indeed a beautiful sight.

They are really nice to watch also. I saw one camping about 10 years ago and the boys thought it was fun watching it hop around.

I've been watching the hummingbirds. They hover just 2 or 3 feet in front of me, then zip to the feeder, then back to look at me! I like to think they're saying "Thank-you" for the nectar.
