Emotional Entanglement
I'm a 23-year-old guy. I came to this section because I need advice from mature and wise individuals.
So I have gotten close with a girl from my class during finals in May. We studied together, shared emotional vulnerable moments, especially family disparities, shared beverages and food, hugs. Something initimate but with a barrier and the label called friendship. So i love being around her, and we spoke even after exams finished during summer everyday in june to july but it started fading. The reason why i am here is because i developed deep feelings for her and i cannot confront her because she has a boyfriend she recently got together with in january and it is started to develop during the vacation. I also cannot tell her now because she is writing exams in August and we are in mid july.
Any good advice will be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I don’t know if this is good advice but I personally would just tell her. Better to be rejected now than regret not sharing your feelings later. Emotions can get overwhelming bottled up.
@DansLeVide I agree with this too !
You're just 23.
Something that doesn't go as you thought it would, might hurt you for a little while. But you should know that you won't always feel the same about it.
It'll hurt for a while and then it won't.
What you don't realise right now is that you'll eventually find people who would value you and do things to keep you around. I can't say when exactly you'll find them, but you will.
You should never try too hard to be in someone's life. Everything happens for the best. And very soon, you'll be able to make sense of this too.
Maybe you can try having clear communication with your friend so that you feel a little more at peace, if that's possible. But, you should remember what I said above more than anything else.
Keep in touch with her as much as you can even if it’s friendship. Then when you feel the timing is right hint to see if she has similar feelings. If she does then tell her how you feel. If she’s all about her boyfriend then keep it at a friend level. You never know what can happen down the road 😊
Hi there, you can remind her that she is an important and special friend for you. Since she has a bf, it is not right to tell her how you feel directly, I think. But let her know that you are there for her if she needs any support. Meanwhile, you work on yourself, try to meet with new people and improve yourself in anyway. Always keep in mind she may always remain as a friend to you, I agree with the person above who says do not put all your emotional eggs in one basket. You are young, life is long and beautiful. Remember, you are very lucky that you can improve feelings for someone and you can share real moments with someone in this era. This is a very special skill that many young people don't have. Enjoy your life.
@passionateFarm4887Bittersweet... more bitter than sweet.
Dear Farm,
I hope this doesn't catch you at a bad time. It sounds like you fell in love with someone who seems unavailable. Unrequited love is its own kind of pain and one of the heaviest things one can carry is the weight of unmade decisions. Whether you choose to keep pursuing her, hang on for hope, grieve and move on or go with a solution of your own, I hope that you make the choices and take the actions that, should you have taken them rather than not, would help you sleep at night. You know your situation best and you're the one who has to live with your choices. I will not tell you what to do beyond this.
If you'd like a listen, you're welcome to write me. Please refer to my bio for my availability.
I wish you love, peace and joy. God bless and take good care of yourself.
Sincerely,
Grace

Tough decision to make.
I was in this position 8 months ago, after 12 years told my best friend that I developed deep feelings for her and well she shot me down. I had felt like she just ripped my heart out, we no longer talk. It is had for me and that is what brought me to 7Cups. I'm 61 and for me I am finding it very difficult to get over but I do not regret telling her.
My opinion, I would tell her but maybe wait until she completes those exams in August so your feelings towards her don't interfere with how she does on them? Just my 2 cents worth.
Good luck with your decision.
If it doesn't work out with this girl, remember:
There are other fish in the sea.
Yes, it's clichéd as h€ll...but only because it's true.

Good guys never get the love they deserve.They will be used and labeled as friends but when anyone needs emotional support then These are the best in the world. The moment that need is over we get left behind. Its a fact u need to accept it and move on.
