Hi. I'm new here. I'm 64, dealing with health issues and estrangement.

I am sorry you're dealing with estrangement. It's very difficult when loved ones decide they no longer want us or when we realize we no longer can have them in our lives.

My sister decided she didn't approve of my life choices and could no longer be around me several years ago and it's been both a relief and a loss. Neither of us have had much contact with our brother since mom passed away in 2001 because his behavior was appalling and it looked like a restraining order might be necessary. Why do death and Wills bring out the worst in family?

I am glad you found 7 cups and hope you find the support and compassion you need here. You're not alone and some of us are in similar circumstances and can relate to your pain.

Yes yes yes. The pain of a family member pulling away hurts so much. Mine is a daughter and even though I am trying to be honest and heal, she wants nothing to do with me.

Thank you! My story goes much deeper but is much too long for a session.

Wow I know that feeling. My story would take a while! I'm 60.5 and dealing with estrangement from my grown daughter. Many faults of my own but she is so very harsh with me and the pain of hurts from a child are absolutely the worst I think.

Idk if it's too late to respond, as I'm new here, but I would love to talk. I lost my son almost 3 years ago, and the pain in still debilitating some days.
