Hi I'm new to this group, I'm just over 50, I should be happy, I've bought my own house but far away from friends and family( affordability) living with my 2 sons 18 and 23, things are changing too quickly 18 yr son just gone off to Uni and 23 yr son is buying a house, I'm so happy for them but the thought of being on my own fills me with dread

@kazco1 . I can completely relate to how you must be feeling, and my heart goes out to you. Being a mum is tough, and when our role as a mum changes it can be a time of dread. Luckily, like most things, this is a moment in time and things will change again. You have clearly played an awesome role of bringing up your boys and as they are confident, driven and successful young men. Take a moment to give yourself a huge pat on the back to celebrate this achievment. As mums, we often prioritize everyone else. Now is your time (as scary as it is) to put yourself first, this is where life can really get exciting :) Feel free to reach out for a 1:1 chat if you would like to connect. Take care smiley
