I want to start opening up and talking about my depression. I'm afraid that if i do i won't stop talking.

I've been supressing for so long, almost my whole life. I can't remember the last time there wasn't an underlying sadness.

I'm at my breaking point, I feel so lost.

@ifeelso

Hey dear!

It's okay to be scared and overwhelmed. As you said, you've kept so much inside for too long. There is no need to make sense now as you are just starting to share things. Be sure to not force yourself in any way and just remain calm and hopeful!

If you want, I can offer you my support, listening, guidance if needed. :) I'm in Europe, around after 2 PM EST usually, if that works for you. Let me know.

@ifeelso by posting this message you have began talking about the struggles you've kept suppressed. Once we start opening up and acknowledging our struggles we start taking the steps to healing. Keeping those bad emotions suppressed is the worst thing we can do to ourselves because they take over our mind and body and spread like cancer.

I know it's hard to talk about depression in a world that's judgmental however when we find a safe and supportive person or support group it makes a hugh difference in our recovery. Healing takes place when we actively seek the help we need to fight the struggles. I'll be glad to support you when you're ready to share more about your struggles. Feel free to read my Listener Profile.

Best wishes and keep hope alive! smiley
