My mom tells me often to, "give myself grace". This is some of the best simple advice I have ever been given. It is so easy for me to forgive others and know they have faults, but it is so easy to blame myself for things. I have to remember I am human, and I have to give myself some grace. :)

My dad often tells me this. From what I know, it means that you should take self-initiative for the things you want to do rather than just sit around and hope something happens.

For me personally, the people who give me a lot of advice even if they don't realise it are the k-pop group BTS. They have said so many things in their music or in interviews that have encouraged or inspired me and I just can't remember them all. So I'm just going to say out of everything that BTS has said the message "love yourself" has really stuck with me. Even though it's quite simple advice it's hard to do in practise and something I want to work towards.

The best advice I ever ran across was a good reminder of a fundamental truth:
“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” This is attributed to Jim Rohn, an American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker.
"be the person that offers help without having to be asked" is probrably one of the best ones ive heard so far. especially because i try to be that person all the time, and i would definetly like others to try the same.
