Cute poem! :) I personally do not make new years resolutions. I make regular goals in my daily life and stick to those though! Since bettering myself is something i consistently do on a daily basis, I see no need for public declarations once a year lol :)

I'm the sort of guy who would be setting himself up to fail if I try for a resolution. Instead, I just make it my goal to be a better person, friend, brother, son, listener... the list goes on. I don't swear off anything or choose to get something done, I just aim to be better than last year.
