ADHD and parents
Am I the only one who tells my parents that I have ADHD, and then they don't believe me or tell me not to joke about that stuff? I'm not joking!!
Does anyone relate? Does anyone have any pointers??

If you're still in school, ADHD screening may be available. Parents may be hard to convince without hearing from someone who's experienced in performing such evaluations.
@Spiritriver My school doesn't have any of that. How would I get screened without the non-existent screening? I'm hopeless, until I'm an adult, I'll be living with this the hard way.

That's what happened to me. I wasn't diagnosed till I was entering my third year of college. By the time I was diagnosed, I'd already developed a lot of compensations. Still it helped me to feel better about myself. I was given information about how study more effectively, which was helpful.
Have you talked to a school counselor about it? The school may not look like it addresses ADHD, but maybe it's addressed with consideration for a student's confidentiality, therefore the program's existence wouldn't be publicized.
@Spiritriver I haven't talked to my school's guidance councelor because I'm not even sure if I have ADHD. I just have some of the syptoms. If I did have ADHD, it's very sever, all I want are a few fidget toys and perhaps some guidance about how to study for younger kids (bc I'm nowhere near graduating high school). Does that make sense?
